Mount Olive Collegiate FFA

The MOC CFFA chapter was established  in November 2002 as the third collegiate chapter in North Carolina.  These activities are coordinated somewhat with collegiate chapters at NCSU and NC A&T State Universities.

Mr. Don Thompson, Interim Director of the Lois G. Britt Agribusiness Center at Mount Olive College, presented four MOC FFA Scholarships in an awards ceremony at Lenoir Community College.  Recipients of the awards are from the Southeast Region of the NC FFA organization.  They will be Agribusiness Majors at MOC and will be members in the MOC CFFA chapter.

The recipients of the awards are:

Jennifer Nicole Foyles, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nicky Foyles of LaGrange, graduating from North Lenoir High School

Eric Nicholas Godwin, son of Mr. Billy Godwin of Dunn, graduating from Midway High School

Melanie Lynn Mades, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Mades of Beaufort, graduating from East Carteret High School

Lehman Christopher (Chris) Stroud, son of Mrs. James Moody of Deep Run, graduating from South Lenoir High School
